Alpha Roofing was founded in 2015 by Shreveport-area resident and Marine Corps veteran Brock Dowden. After returning from service, Brock saw a need for a roofing contractor in the Ark-La-Tex that homeowners could genuinely trust — one that communicated clearly, delivered on its promises, and didn’t cut corners to pad margins.
“Honesty, integrity, and transparency is extremely important to me,” Brock says. “I started Alpha Roofing because I wanted homeowners to feel confident in who they were hiring — not confused, not pressured, and never taken advantage of.”

Meet Brock Dowden, Owner
Brock Dowden is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. The discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to mission that defined his military service are the same values he brings to every roofing project Alpha Roofing undertakes.
Brock and his wife Tamara are members of the Bossier Parish community, where Brock has been involved in youth baseball as a coach and has actively supported local charities. For Brock, building a great roofing company and giving back to the community are not separate goals — they are the same goal.
